Gator Custom Mobility participated in this fun, competitive tree decorating contest to benefit Meals on Wheels food recipients who are unable to leave their homes. GCM won first place with this tree. Our Executive Director of Operations, Jamie Loper, created this tree using Christmas ribbon. After the trees were judged, they were given to the Meals on Wheels clients to brighten their holidays.

The Tournament was held at Haile Plantation Golf and County Club, and had over 100 registered golfers. The tournament raised funds for the Alachua County Meals on Wheels program which provides more than 300 meals a day for homebound seniors and those that utilize one of seven congregate meal sites located around Alachua County. Meals on Wheels is a program of ElderCare of Alachua County. Gator Custom Mobility sponsored both beverage carts, as well as had a foursome playing in the tournament.

As a way to raise funds for the battle against neuromuscular diseases, local business and community members agree to be "arrested" for having a "big heart" in the MDA Lock-Up. GCM participated in this unique community-wide event to raise funds for Jerry's kids. Marketing Director, Charlene Cherry spent an afternoon as a "jailbird" raising bail money to support MDA.

David Whitaker directs traffic at the symposium. The Movement Disorders Center at the University of Florida offered a day long, continuing education credit symposium for occupational and physical therapists. GCM was present at the event to answer any questions participants may have regarding power mobility and obtaining equipment. Pictured: David Whitaker, Marketing Specialist.
